:You will need to purchase a lock cylinder (nissan only item) and them have a locksmith code it accordingly. They will either pull the vin and get the key code or it's also on the inside of the glove box for some year Z32's. Thanx Milo (SATX). I called Z1 Motorsports this morning, to price this lock cylinder. After explaining the problem to him, he suggested it may not be the lock cylinder, but the "door lock piece" or "actuator" that isn't catching, [the piece behind the cylinder that turns the cable and locks/unlocks the door]. He priced this part at $35, but has no solution on how to open the door to install the piece. Would you know any locksmiths in the inland empire, ca or riverside, ca that could do this, without having to cut the door panel . . . ?
Thanx angain
